ROBERT BENGTSON is the creative vision behind all the offerings available here on this website and the retail gallery space in Sausalito it's an extension of. A fine-art commercial photographer for over 25+ years with wide-ranging commissions, Robert has also created interactive art installations (participated in by thousands) and transformed traditional advertising billboards around San Francisco (experienced by millions). He's brought creative participation to conferences and workshops, designed art books and greeting cards, and has curated the gifting-out of over 100,000 New Human Story cards in creative-support of humanity's transformation.
Robert's life is like an interactive installation. His truck. His garden. His home. His character. And for those who've already experienced his art, participated in his installations or salons, or met him in person (along with the dog named Onawa he stewards who adopted him 10+ years ago when he was in Mexico), you'll most likely have felt the creative frequencies that flow through him.
At the core of his creativity is the belief that at the essence of life (you, us, existence, everything) is a life-affirming creative force. That we humans are miraculous and mysterious and so (so) much more than most of us have been told (taught, imprinted with).
This website and new gallery space in Sausalito mark the first time Robert's art is officially available to the public. The intention here --- as it is with everything Robert creates --- are things and experiences that bring out the best in people. We also have something for everyone. From $1 buttons to $3K+ extra-large wall-art, framed in walnut.
Every creation is a sum of its parts. From the intention that births it... to the people, process, and ingredients that make it... to the ripples it creates as a ‘something’ in the world. The Art of Detail is part of this story. That details matter. That what we surround ourselves with matter.
That the experiences we engage in matter. That every choice we make matters.

Our Chromaluxe high-definition metal prints are second to none. They’re made by infusing (sublimating) dyes from a finely printed image directly into the surface of specialized aluminum with the use of a commercial-grade, high-temperature, heat press. The prints are vibrant, extremely durable, lightweight, easy-to-clean, and do not need any glass, acrylic, or (toxic) laminate coverings. Each print is made-to-order and hand-framed in the options available.
With a 65+ year archival rating, these prints exceed leading photo luster papers in longevity testing, with 3x the archival rating for the current silver-halide photo papers.
Because the dyes are infused into the external coating, the prints are far more durable than all traditional print forms. They’re resistant to fire, chemicals, scratching, and moisture (making them particularly great for damp or humid interiors where there could be condensation) and can easily be cleaned with any all-purpose cleaner.
We start with an archival pigment print on fine-art, cotton-rag Hannemuhle paper... have Robert sign the matte... and frame-by-hand in walnut or black with a non-UV glass covering
